The site is set in over 20 acres, with its manicured grounds, ashphelt footpaths and roads, is maintained the highest of standards with each plot having piped LPG gas (No Gas Bottles!) . Our holiday home owners take pride in their caravans and surrounding areas, helping the site always look its best.
We are fortunate to be just a 15 minute walk from the market town of Llanidloes, just 3 miles from Llyn Clywedog Dam and have a number of coastal towns with an hours drive.

We know just how important it is that your furry friends enjoy their holiday too! We have a 10 acre dog walking area where your pooch can run and play to their heart's content with their own doggy pond and a separate fenced off dog training area. If you are feeling more adventurous then there are walks in all directions from our park.
Situated in the recreational area is our coarse fishing pool which is well stocked with carp, tench, bream and crucian carp. Exclusively for Clywedog & Red Kite guests.
Don't worry about muddy paws, after your walk you can head back to our amenities block and make use of our dog wash!
We have a wide range of Wildlife around the caravan park, there is nothing more relaxing than sitting by the lake seeing or listening to the native Birds. Much of the park is set aside for wild life with various habitats on offer. Keep an eye out for the heron and kingfisher on the river.
There is a lovely rustic path walk along the river ideal for an evening stroll. Keep an eye out for brown trout in the river, kingfishers, woodpeckers flying to and from their nesting boxes and even the occasional otter can be spotted here.
