But should you wish to venture out, there is lots to see and do nearby – and many of our owners love exploring all the local area has to offer.
From picturesque towns to spectacular scenery, or even a day at the coast… from Clywedog you can see and do as much as you please.
A 15 minute walk will find you in the quaint market town of Llanidloes. The first town on the River Severn boast a selection or pubs, restaurants and local shops. This ancient market town dates back to the 12th century. There are still buildings from the 17th Century, including the Market Hall – the only one of its kind in Wales.

As an owner at our mid wales Caravan park you can spend you time exploring the beautiful local area at your leisure.
The Clywedog Dam and reservoir is just 3 miles away along with a hose of must-visit destinations and beauty spots, there is so much to enjoy nearby.
Within one hours drive there are a choice of coastal towns, stateley homes or take a trip on one of the many steam railways that wind through the Welsh hills.
