So, whether you’re entertaining the grandchildren or fancy a day out, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Red Kite Feeding Centre

The Red Kite is a magnificently graceful bird, and here is your chance to see them in action! At Gigrain Farm Wild Red Kites are fed every day of the year. The 160 acre family-run farm is located in the most beautiful countryside just a short drive from our touring park. Hundreds of the beautiful birds flock to the farm each day to snatch up their grub in front of your eyes as you watch from the hides. The farm caters to all families, including dogs.

Welshpool To Llanfair Steam Railway

The Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway was opened in 1903 to link the market town of Welshpool through to Llanfair Caereinion, this 2 foot 6 inch narrow gauge steam railway now provides a tourist service for all the family and a welcome change from the rush of every day life so why not come and enjoy a journey through this beautiful countryside by Steam Train.

Gregynog Hall and Gardens

Gregynog is a historic house with Grade 1 listed gardens in the heart of rural Montgomeryshire. As one of Wales’ premier country estates, discover a welcoming setting in which people of all ages and abilities can explore be inspired!

Powys Castle

Powys Castle or Powis Castle, this Medieval Castle which is open to the public via National Trust rises dramatically above the celebrated garden. Its elevated position offers magnificent views and inspires awe -®National Trust Images- Mark Bolton

National Cycle Museum

Home of over 260 cycles from an 1816 Hobby Horse, Victorian solid-tyred machines, classic lightweights to the latest carbon-fibre designs. The museum is the National Cycle Museum for the UK and is one of the leading cycle museums in the world.
